Al "Liquid Silver" Espinoza

WIDELY ACCLAIMED AS THE CREATOR OF THE MOST MEMORABLE SALSA ROUTINES IN THE WORLD, AL ESPINOZA, BETTER KNOWN AS ‘LIQUID SILVER’, HAS TRAVELED THE WORLD TEACHING HIS UNIQUE MILLENNIUM SALSA STYLE.

Al ‘Liquid Silver’ was born in Sacramento, California and raised in Los Angeles. Being from Puerto Rican and Mexican decent, he grew up listening to salsa. Before he started salsa, Al was a pop locker and has won popping competitions in Northern and Southern California.
Al Liquid Silver incorporated his popping and old school hip hop to salsa and created the unique Millennium salsa style. His originality took him to the top of the salsa scene. He performed and taught in over 30 countries around the world.

Every time he appears on stage he wins the audience’s hearts with his original dance themes. His most memorable routines are the following: the Robot, Cowboy, Terminator, King Tut, Beetle Juice, Pepé le Pew, Transformers, and Iron Man. Liquid’s fans never know what to expect. Imagination, a sense of humor and mimicking skills has made his performances unique and unforgettable.

In 2003, Liquid Silver performed in “Latin Madness”, an Off Broadway musical in New York City, next to some of the best mambo dancers in the world such as Descarga Latina, Santo Rico, Yamoulee, Addie Diaz, Franklin Diaz, Jesus Aponte, Duplessy Walker, Mario B., Stracy Diaz and Nelson Flores.

While he lived in New York, he was trained by top mambo dancers. That’s when he learned salsa, the New York style. Incorporating his lessons, pop and hip hop to New York style salsa, Al Liquid Silver became known worldwide.

Al Liquid Silver also performed for various artists such as Tito Puente Junior, La Palabra, Luisito Rosalio, Rey Sepulveda, Jose Alberto Canario, John Secada.

He has also performed for TV stations such as Univision, Telemundo and has been on the cover of a famous LA magazine “Sabor”. Al has judged numerous of competitions around the world, like at the World Salsa Federation. He has also received an award in Miami Salsa Congress for all his achievements.

For the last couple of years he has been teaching in Miami. Here you can attend his classes, boot camps or see him perform with his Liquid Silver Productions team, or LSP, at the wood of South Florida clubs.
